Featured Hole #1

Par 5 - 520 yards

Your tee shot is the key to making a good score here. Keep your tee shot just left of the trees on the right to maximize distance off the tee and give yourself a chance at hitting this par 5 in 2. If you can't hit the green in 2, use whatever club you need to leave yourself 80 to 100 yards out - this gives you an excellent chance at birdie or at worst par, just avoid the bunkers and get it on the green leaving you an easy par or birdie.

Featured Tip

Practice your short game!

Spring is here! Most of us have not played for months and getting a golf swing and touch around the greens back are tough to do real fast.  THE TIP...Don't always use your Sand Wedge. Most of us automatically grab our SW for all our shots around the green. When you have lots of green to work with, experiment with your 7 or 8-iron. Get the ball on the green quickly and let the shot roll out. You just might find yourslef getting the ball closer to the hole on the long chip shots by using this technique.
